   I was sceptical when I bought this. Could one tool really do so many things? Well, so far it has lived up to all its promises. I’ve used it for sawing wood and metal and sanded both wooden and plastered surfaces to great effect. And it’s a lot more powerful than you think. When sawing wood you really do have to tone down the oscillation speed and keep moving the blade or you’ll char the wood.
   I’m renovating a house and this little beauty has made so many jobs faster and easier – plus it’s fun.

   I purchased the multipro to help clear out some grout in the corner of a tiled shower enclosure. It worked very well and the job was completed easily and without damaging the tiles. I have subsequently used it to cut in a slot when repairing a timber window where the multipro again worked well. The only fault I have found is with the sanding paper pads, they dont seem to hold onto the backing plate as well as with my old Bosch sander and the pads themselves seem to disintegrate after a very short amount of use. All in all a good machine badly let down by the quality of the backing plate and paper sanding attachments. I might try mounting a Bosch plate using the adapter if I can track one down.
